Balz Custom Woodworking's Warranties
Five-Year Limited Residential Warranty:
Cabinets and other products manufactured by Balz Custom Woodworking Inc. that are purchased for and installed in a residential application are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use to the original consumer purchaser for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser, or the original site of installation. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product at our option, without charge to the customer. Slight variations in the grain and color of wood are not considered defects by the cabinet manufacturing industry. This limited warranty does not extend to defects caused by improper handling, storage, customer installation, customer assembly or disassembly, intentional damage, product modifications, nor to products that are installed in places that are not environmentally controlled in regards to humidity levels. Any solid wood product will respond adversely to extreme conditions - especially extremely low or high humidity conditions. Door joints are subject to movement under these extreme conditions. Gaps that may develop in door joints due to these conditions are not subject to replacement under this warranty. Joints in painted doors will crack in time and are also not subject to replacement under this warranty. To make a claim under this limited warranty, the consumer must call or write Balz Custom Woodworking, Inc. after the discovery of the defect. Balz Custom Woodworking, Inc. will not pay any expense incurred by the consumer in removing, transporting, or reinstalling the product. All express warranties and any implied warranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose shall terminate upon the expiration of this limited warranty. Balz Custom Woodworking, Inc. assumes no liability for incidental or consequential damages.
One-Year Limited Commercial Warranty:

This warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser, or the original site of installation.
